Privacy policy

Who we are

FORT Abu Dhabi Racing is a family-owned kart racing team based at Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi, UAE. If you have a question about this policy or about information you have sent us, email info@fortracing.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form:

• //the driver’s name and age
• //a parent or guardian’s name, if you give one
• //your email address, and your phone number if you give one
• //the category you are interested in and the driver’s racing experience
• //anything you write in the message box

Because our programmes start from age four, an enquiry often concerns a child. We ask only for the driver’s first name and age — nothing more about a child than we need to point you at the right category — and we expect a parent or guardian to be the person sending it.

What we do with it

Your enquiry is emailed to the team so we can reply and send you the season pack. That is the only thing we use it for. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone outside FORT, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie: a PHP session cookie. It exists so the enquiry form can protect itself against cross-site request forgery and limit repeated submissions, and so team members can stay logged in to the content admin. It carries no advertising or tracking identifier and expires when you close your browser.

There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no social media tracking on this site.

Third parties

Two files load from outside our server: the typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) and the stylesheet engine from cdn.tailwindcss.com. Requesting those files reveals your IP address to those services, as any web request does. We send them nothing about you beyond that.

Links to Instagram and WhatsApp take you to services run by their own companies, under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

Enquiries live in the team’s email. We keep them while a conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us, then delete them.

Your choices

Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@fortracing.com. We will action a deletion request unless we are required to keep something.

Photographs

Photographs on this site show FORT drivers, their families and team members at race events. If you appear in one and would like it removed, email us and we will take it down.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
