Two FORT karts on track at Al Forsan, the team home circuit

01 The team Since 2021

Our history

How FORT started

The family-owned racing team, FORT, was started in 2021, as a need was identified in the UAE for a racing team that was managed and operated on a non-profit basis, to enable those with greater aspirations.

Guided by smarter budgets and fuelled by in-house improved skills and determination to succeed in racing karts competitively in the UAE and MENA region, the FORT racing team and its drivers enjoyed a great deal of success on and off the track during the inaugural 2021/22 season — and that success continues into the 2026-2027 season and beyond.

Achieving over 100+ trophies as well as the world’s youngest 3-time back-to-back Champion of MENA, Champion in Micro, 2× Champion in Mini, Champion in Senior, Dubai O Plate Vice Champion in Mini and Vice Champion in DD2 Master.

FORT racing drivers represent 23 countries as their homes, but are all UAE residents and form a truly international team supported by their families — which creates an enjoyable, family-focused environment.

FORT management

Run by racers,
for racers

FORT is managed by pure enthusiast race kart champions. The experienced senior drivers also give their time and experience to coach, develop and inspire the younger drivers towards more success — and, most importantly, the enjoyment of driving and racing.

Coach Develop Inspire

FORT provides opportunities for kart drivers from the age of 4 upwards to drive as a hobby or competitively, regardless of previous experience, in the Rotax Max Challenge (RMC UAE) — the national championship in the UAE.

FORT has been successfully represented across all 6 categories in RMC UAE, accounting for 16% of the national grid. Alongside, the team competes in the annual Dubai O Plate Championship, MENA Nations Cup and the ROTAX Grand Finals (World Championship) amongst other world-class events.
