Faris Haroun is an Emirati driver who represented the UAE at the FIA Motorsport Games in Valencia in October 2024, racing in Karting Mini as the youngest member of the national team.
He won the Mini Max title at the MENA Karting Championship Nations Cup in back-to-back years — at the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar in December 2023, and again in December 2024, where he took the flag in 16:56.733.
He is a three-time MENA Championship winner across different categories. Asked about his ambitions, he has said his lucky number is nine — because he wants nine Formula 1 drivers’ titles: “I don’t want to do one better than Schumacher, but two.”
